I kind of burnt the candle at both ends here. We finally had cool weather and I'm almost out of lunches to take to work. So I needed to cook and I needed to do it in bulk.

I started with a pork roast in the crock pot. Some potatoes & carrots, cooked in chicken broth with a bit of V8.
I also did some beans. Two one-pound bags of '15 bean soup,' though I found when I got it home I had one 'regular' and one 'cajun.'

What the heck. I used both spice packets and quite a bit more in the form of Chipotle powder and whatnot.
Two pounds of beans were married with two pounds of brown rice and four pounds of Andouille sausage.
