Asparagus



I steamed the asparagus, though badly. I used a colander over water in my big stock pot, with the lid to hold in some of the steam, but the handles of the colander were so thick it took over twenty minutes to get, more or less, 'blanched' veggies.

I shredded some cheddar over it and finished in the microwave. Good stuff. Hot all the way through but still crisp.
