So when your boss has been on vacation for four days and you know there's about fifty questions he'll have about this that and the other thing, you don't want to be late for work. Right?
Even if you're routinely a little late, and even if he generally doesn't mind. This is a day for punctuality.
So I left the house early with that in mind. And it took me 45 minutes to make it from getting on the highway to my first potential exit. The oncoming traffic you see in this shot is all people who crossed the median to go back and find another way. There's a new bridge going in and I think they shut stuff down to move equipment across the road or something.
Aren't they supposed to do this at night instead of when all of us are trying to get to our jobs (so we can pay the taxes that fund these little bridge projects)?
