On the way to Kaleidoscope, you pass through Halls, a department store that amounts to Kansas City's version of Saks. Actually, we had a Saks until a few years ago, but as long as people want to send sentiment, I'm pretty sure we'll have a Halls, since the Hallmark folks own it and the mall it anchors.
As usual, Em spotted cute clothes and shoes she wanted as we passed through, and I can dig it. I've seen men's stuff there that I'd like, but I asked her how much this sweater was, and she read the tag, '$69.'
Yeah. I wouldn't even pay that for a really loud Hawaiian shirt.
