The Unbearable Lightness of My Wallet



I remember when you had to drive a full size truck with two tanks to buy $50 of gasoline at a shot.

For that matter, I remember when I worked as a gas station cashier and we weren't allowed to take anything larger than a $20, because it would mean leaving too much cash in the drawer to make change.

This is one tank of gas. For a regular car. It's not a Hummer, it's not a truck, it's a freaking Buick, and not even a big Buick.
