Sarah Palin, more and more I wish it was Palin-McCain. I might almost not vote Libertarian if it was that way.
Pro-life? Well, knowing she had a Down's kiddo on the way with an already large family she didn't try to rationalize the humanity of the child away. And even with an awkwardly pregnant 17 year old daughter making a premature grandma out of her, she's still standing in there.
Good for her. However her criminal past in Alaska plays out (she's a politician, a Governor after all, meaning she must be a criminal), she seems authentic. She's not on some Kennebunkport country club golf course forming positions on life. She lives it. I don't think we've seen anything of the sort on a GOP or Democratic ticket in the past century.
Gonna crucify her for trying to get pork when she was a mayor of small town? Okay, let's haul out Obama's Chicago if you wanna talk crooked pork. Like I say, she's a politician, so of course she's crooked, but if you'd guarantee that McCain would die of old age a day after being inaugurated, I'd vote Republican this November.
