
I took a chance on Price Chopper's 'Louisiana Sausage.' It's not the same as the Andouille I get from Fritz's or McGonigles, but it's okay.

I grilled it with some chicken breasts I had in mind for another meal, then cooked some brown rice in pork stock from last winter and added some canned black beans and a bit of 'blackened' seasoning from Zataran's.

The end result is far from greatness, but further from inedible.
