And the Beagle

After fruitlessly searching for something called the Rajun Cajun Festival at the Legends, I ended up on 435 pointed the wrong way. After missing a couple of turns to get headed back South, I realized we'd be half way to by to Parkville he time I got us back on course, so why not visit the H.M.S. Beagle?

It's a fave. If it wasn't so far, we'd go all the time. All things science, from cool telescopes to chemistry equipment to replica dinosaur bones and human skulls and I don't know what all.

I could seriously spend some money in this store if I had it. How cool would a saber tooth tiger skull be as a desk ornament?

And they have a really sound selection of rocketry stuff, owing to having someone on staff who's into it. It's his two-stage high power scale model of a Canadian sounding rocket that hangs over the cash register area. Whereas Hobby Haven is no doubt the bomb if you're into RC aircraft or cars, or if electric trains are your bit, because they have people working there that share those addictions, they don't seem to know what to stock for their rocketry aisle. They get a E for effort most of the time, but if the Beagle was close by, it wouldn't even be a contest.
