We had some missions to accomplish in Johnson County and along the way I wanted to visit Todd & Julie. I wasn't sure they'd be home, I figured Julie might be on assignment in Alaska or something.
They weren't there but their garden runneth over in spectacular ways. Their yard is a lot like what me and Corinna have talked about doing with ours: everything edible and/or interesting.
At a garage sale I found a food processor for five bucks and we found a bear for Molly and a keyboard at another sale.
We were kind of on the way to the Trek Store, which was having a big sale, and when we got there we were in full Gypsy Caravan mode with the keyboard on her bike and the food processor on mine. We took our bikes in the store but it freaked out the natives a bit and they ended up asking us in painfully polite terms to get that shit out of their display window before someone thought they were selling our lifestyle.
