Don't Read This

Don't, really, if you don't want to hear more craptastic news about the economy.

I ran into a friend this morning who's in the building trades. He's a supervisor for a company that installs insulation on new construction. I asked him if it was slow, and he told me pretty much all the Mexicans they usually have working for them have gone back to Mexico because it's been so long since he's had anything for them to do.

For all you who think 12 million illegal immigrants working in America is a big problem that requires building a Great Berlin Wall along the border, do you think all those illegals voluntarily quitting the country means good things are happening?

I guess it could be worse. Cubans in Miami could be building rafts and trying to get to Havana.
