Too much food, to be sure, but the guy who brought me this embarrassment of calories pointed out that there was lots of 'competition.'
Which is to say on that block there are three or four places that run two-for deals.
Worked out for me because I ate one of these plates for an excessive supper, the other was lunch the next day. I think these deals are structured to lure students/20-somethings in and then sell them four or five beers with a better markup, but I went with ice water, so I probably ruined the business model.
