I've been putting those new flourescent bulbs in when my incandescents burn out. Not so much because I'm a friend of the planet, as I'd like to see if it actually cuts my electric bill.
But we wouldn't really need a new kind of light bulb if we could harness the energy of 11-year-old girls who are determined to fly a kite in zero wind.
