I'm not a big fan of political correctness, it's not a rule book I can generally conform to. But, wow.
There's a thrift store across the street from where I work that crossed the line even for me today. Columbus Day, and they had a sign-holder marching on the sidewalk wearing a feather headdress. I guess it was to promote their Columbus Day sale, had folks lined up before the store opened.
I wonder if they'll have a step-n-fetch-it blackface character out there for Martin Luther King's birthday. I already though this thrift store sold its soul when it went corporate and the prices went up and selection went down. Damn.
