We could have gone to Rocky Horror that night, almost did. But Sweeney Todd is a favorite, and it wouldn't be happening again in a month.
This was the best live performance of it I've seen so far, and the most complete. It's a long-ass musical.
Not that I've been to that many live performances of Sweeney Todd. The theater gets expensive, you know. But Theater in the Park is a great value. The tickets were very reasonable ($8 per) and even the concessions were priced where I could get my mind around buing a soda or two.
And you can bring in your own grub, make a picnic out of it. You know, have your priest and eat it too.
